This page clarifies the role of NaviBus and GLOBAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PARIS with respect to the transport services offered on the Platform.

A marketplace, not the carrier of your trip

NaviBus is an online marketplace operated by GLOBAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PARIS. The Platform provides technical and commercial tools that allow transport Operators to publish offers and receive booking requests from Agencies and Travelers.

For the purposes of the NaviBus marketplace, GLOBAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PARIS acts as a technical and commercial intermediary. Transport services booked through the Platform are performed by independent coach Operators, unless expressly stated otherwise in a specific offer or contract. GLOBAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PARIS does not conclude the transport contract on behalf of the Traveler: that contract is concluded directly between the Operator and the Agency / Traveler when an offer is accepted through the Platform.

Sole responsibility of the Operator

The Operator is solely and exclusively responsible for the actual performance of the transport service, and in particular for:

  • holding all transport licences, authorisations and professional insurances required by the laws of the countries of departure, arrival and transit;
  • the technical condition, safety, conformity and insurance of the vehicles used;
  • the qualifications, working hours, rest times and behaviour of the drivers;
  • the safety, comfort and proper handling of passengers and their luggage;
  • compliance with road, customs, social security and tax regulations applicable to the trip;
  • any damage, accident, delay, injury, loss or theft occurring before, during or after the transport.

Role of NaviBus

GLOBAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PARIS limits its intervention to:

  • publishing Operator offers and Agency / Traveler requests;
  • providing communication, booking, invoicing and payment-flow tools;
  • verifying basic identity and KYC information of the Operators to the extent reasonably possible;
  • collecting a commission on confirmed bookings, where applicable.

GLOBAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PARIS does not guarantee the suitability, quality, safety or legality of the services offered by Operators, nor the truthfulness or accuracy of the information they publish.

Claims

Any complaint relating to the performance of a transport service must be addressed directly to the Operator concerned. GLOBAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PARIS may, on a best-effort and non-binding basis, facilitate communication between the parties through the Platform.
